A. When You Use the CryptoQuest Mobile App

  • Account Data: When you create your CryptoQuest account, we collect your name (or username), email address, and an encrypted password. This information is required to create your profile and save your progress.

  • Payment & Subscription Data: We use Google Play's in-app purchase system for all subscriptions. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information or other payment details. This information is handled securely and directly by Google. We only receive a confirmation from Google that your subscription is active.

• Information We Collect Automatically

  • In-App User Data: As you use the App, we automatically collect data related to your learning and activity. This includes your progress through the "Moons," your quiz scores, your test results, and any other content you generate or save within your account. This allows us to track your progress and provide the core service.

  • Device & Technical Data: To maintain and improve our App's performance, we automatically collect technical information from your device. This includes your mobile device ID, operating system (OS) type, device model, and crash logs (reports of when the app malfunctions). This data helps us identify and fix bugs.

B. When You Use Our Website or Subscribe to Our Newsletter

When you engage with our Site or opt-in to receive content, we may collect:

• Your email address

• Technical data (via cookies and analytics)

• Interaction data (e.g., which emails you open or click)

We are based in Norway (EEA). Our third-party service providers (like Google and Meta) may be based in the United States or other countries. • Marketing Opt-Out: Every email we send includes an “unsubscribe” link. You can opt out of our newsletter at any time — no questions asked.

• Account & Data Deletion: As required by the Google Play Store, you have the right to request the deletion of your App account and associated data. You can do this by "Navigating to 'Profile > Settings > Delete Account'" or by emailing us at adnan@cryptoquest.education.
